How to Increase Download Speed in Windows 10 – Throttle download speed windows 10

I created a policy using the powershell. Now i am unable to remove the policy. Verify the value of the property and retry. Just for the sake of experimentation, I applied the throttling to the Windows App store, and it worked flawlessly. However, I think that this will work by adding chrome to the environment variables in Windows. You can know more about it here. Do let me know if this works for you.

Neither command throttled the Store app. Tried rebooting, not change. The policy is in place. I checked. I remember checking Windows Store for checking the download speed after throttling it. Microsoft may have changed something in this time.

This includes bandwidth throttling etc. I also removed my PC from Duma OS and hardwired it to the Telus modem to see if that affected speeds – it did not, and like I said, Duma OS and WiFi devices are able to achieve my paid-for speeds, it’s just Windows 10 that’s denying me them. Telus have confirmed the hardware can handle the speeds. Please have a readily available explanation for why everything NOT running Windows processes gets x the speeds that Windows does.
